The Mission Impossible title consist of the main character and the main roles in making and producing the film. The Mission Impossible title at the end of the sequence is shown in seriff font. The sound at the start of the seqence has a low tone to create tension, and gradually builds up adding in more percussion and what sounds like a trumpet. As the sequence continues the music builds up to a fast paced piece. This matches the fast cuts that are used to create suspense and tension. At the start of the sequence an extreme close up of a burning wick is shown and breifly makes appearances throughout the sequence that also helps to create suspense.
a series of extreme close up shots are shown throughout the opening sequence, making the audience question what exactly these items are.
